Wilfred Noel Marris (1921-41)
Son of William Marris and Gladys M. née Askew who married at Hull, Yorks., in March Qtr 1918. Wilfred’s birth was registered in June Qtr 1921 at Sculcoates, Yorks. The family appears in the 1939 register at 1 Wilton Grove, Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorks., but it is hard to place them with certainty. The father may have been William Henry Marris, born Sept. Qtr 1891 in Hull, Yorks., and who died in Dec. Qtr 1940 in Hull Reg. Distr., Yorks.

The birth of Frederick William Marris was registered at East Retford, Notts. in Sept. Qtr 1923. He was the son of Frederick William Marris (1889-1936) and Inze Hope née Atkinson who were married in Doncaster Reg. District in June Qtr 1920

Frederick William Marris (1921/22-1942)
Possibly the son of William Henry Marris and Edith née Wakefield who married at Glanford Brigg Reg. District, Lincs. in June Qtr 1904. Frederick’s father may have been the William Henry Marris born at Scotter, Lincs on 19 March 1882 and died at Lincoln Lincs. on18 October 1963.
